Pumpkin Patch

What a fun and beautiful day today for a trip to the pumpkin patch. We visited The Berry Ranch in Nampa this morning and had a fantastic time. The girls got to see lots of different farm animals, go on a hayride, and pick their own pumpkins. This is definitely a tradition I would like to start. Here are just a few of the many pictures I took today.
Since Poppy Rick had to work this morning, we brought Mica Shae along with us. She is more like a sister than a friend. We just love her.

New Hobby

Doug has a new hobby - brewing beer! For Christmas I got him a home brew kit. So a couple of weeks ago, a couple of his buddies came over and made their first batch of beer. This last Sunday, they got it bottled up and started brewing another batch. They really seem to enjoy and it is a fun way for them to have some "guy" time.

Gingerbread House

Last Saturday Mica Shae came over to hang out for awhile. To keep to the girls busy, I thought it would be a good idea to put a gingerbread house together. The girls totally got into it and loved creating and decorating the house. It was fun to just sit back and see where their imaginations took them.

She Rides!

Oh boy did Piper have a good weekend. On Saturday she got to dress up as a fairy and get her picture taken. Then that afternoon she went to a big girl party at Poppy Rick's house and partied all day and into the night. On Sunday Mica and Poppy Rick gave her an amazing present-a 4wheeler. She was so excited she didn't even know what to think.

The girls - Mica, Piper, and Lauren - after two days of nothin' but fun! We are so lucky to have Poppy Rick and Mica as part of our family. We love them so much and wouldn't know what to do without them. We are so very blessed to know and love such amazing people.

I had to share theses cute pictures of Piper & Claire on Piper's horse Burrito. Yes, Piper did name the horse all by herself. I have no idea where she came up with the name - but I think it fits.
