Thursday Art

Piper found a rock in the backyard the other day that she just fell in love with. So I thought it would be fun to paint it and make a pet rock for her. Thursday was perfect for this since it rained all day and we were stuck inside. She couldn't wait to get started. She had so much fun! She can't wait to get some more "pet" rocks!

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Piper loves Saturday mornings. She gets to crawl in bed with daddy and watch cartoons. Of course, Paige had to get in on the action too. This is Paige trying to look around me so she could see the cartoons. How funny is this?!?

3 Months Old!!!

Paige is now three months old! I can't believe how fast time has gone by. She had a doctors appointment a couple of weeks ago and got a great report. She is now 10 lbs. 11 oz and 23 1/4" long. She is getting so big!!! She also had her first round of shots and did great. Piper and I on the other hand had a really hard time watching the nurse poke Paige with the needle. By the time all was done, all three of us were crying. Paige smiles all the time, especially when Doug and Piper talk to her. She also holds her head up and looks around at everything going on around her. She talks and coos and even laughs every once in awhile. I love seeing her personality come out. We still aren't getting a full nights sleep, but I am getting use to it. She wakes up, eats, we talk a bit, and then back to bed. At least we have a routine down. All in all, things are going great - I love being able to stay home with both of my beautiful girls.

7 Weeks!

I cannot believe that my baby is 7 weeks old today! Where has the time gone?????

6 Weeks

I can't believe that Paige is 6 weeks old. Time is flying by. Everyday she does something new. I am so lucky to be her mama.

Changing

I can't believe how much she has changed in the short time that she has been with us. I am so blessed to have such a precious little baby girl.

Fingers & Toes

I love her fingers & toes. I forgot how little can be. I love to watch her curl her five little fingers around my finger. I love to watch her stretch her toes out while I change her diaper. I am so lucky to be her mom.

2 Weeks

I can't believe that Paige is already 2 weeks old. She has been such a blessing! So far she hasn't given us a moment of trouble. She eats well and lets me sleep for up to 4 hours at night - what more could I ask for?!? When she is awake, she likes to play in her bouncy chair and loves to listen to her big sister talk to her. She is a little miracle!!!!!

Little Lady

I can't believe how big she is getting. She has went from a little baby girl to a big girl over night. She is such a cute little bug - I love her so much!

This is what she calls her "trophy". I picked this up at the Ada County Christmas Show. The vendor was so nice - she just gave it to me at the end of the show. As most of you know - Piper loves Pez, so this was the perfect treat for her.
We have been slowly adding to Piper's hair bow & flower collection. While Aunt Sara was here Piper had to get them all out to model for her.

Two Girls & a Burrito

I had to share theses cute pictures of Piper & Claire on Piper's horse Burrito. Yes, Piper did name the horse all by herself. I have no idea where she came up with the name - but I think it fits.

Wanted to Share

I just wanted to share some pictures that we have taken in the last couple of weeks. I've been busy & haven't had a chance to update the blog like I use to. Anyways...here you go.

I love this picture of Piper and Doug playing with her kitchen. She loves to cook for us! She loves helping me with Claire. Her favorite thing right now is holding her & feeding her.
I'm not usually in front of the camera, but it was time for a new picture of us.

21 Weeks

Just wanted to share a new pic of my bump. I am 21 weeks so far and doing good. Other than having a yucky cold virus for the last couple of weeks everything is going good. The sweet little girl has been kicking up a storm lately (especially when I am ready to go to sleep). It's exciting because I am not the only one who feels the baby move - both Doug and Piper have felt her. Piper gets really excited when she gets to feel the little one kick. She talks to my tummy all the time and sings the baby songs - it just warms my heart. I can't wait for the two of them to meet.
