Just some random shots from this weekend. Bigslee - our first baby. She has no worries in the world. Just turn on the fireplace and she is one happy dog.
This is her room. I love this space. It is full of happiness, laughter, and joy.
Just because I think I need another project. It's suppose to be a blanket - it doesn't look like the picture, but I guess we will see how it works out.

She's a Talker

She found this old phone the other day in the bedroom. Since then, she takes it everywhere. She loves to "call" her grandma, Uncle TyTy, Aunt Sara, and of course - her daddy.

Last night Piper asked if she could wear her sunglasses in the tub. As soon as she put them on she started posing. Of course pictures had to be taken.

Fun Weekend

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit this weekend. We had two days filled with non-stop fun. Piper was so excited to see them & loved spending time with them. Of course she was spoiled rotten - but who couldn't spoil her.

Piper talked Grandpa into laying on the floor with her in her new play room. Piper got a new table and chair set for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa. As soon as we got it out of the box and set up, she insisted on having a tea party:0)
We got a new hot air popcorn popper for Christmas. All I can say is YUMMY!
We had such a fun and wonderful weekend. We are so lucky to have such a great family. Thanks for coming this weekend Grandma and Grandpa. We love you so much and can't wait for out next visit!

A Blue Tongue & Pink Toes

She just had to have a sucker. She begged for one all day long. Daddy finally caved and let you choose one out of the bag. Of course she picked a blue one - why not? Who doesn't love a blue tongue? She's been asking to paint my toes with the new polishes she got for Christmas. I was so pooped yesterday that I finally agreed to it. I had paint all over my nails and my toes, but when Piper got done she told me they looked beautiful.

A Masterpiece

Piper got some awesome paints for Christmas from Michael and Marc. After we got done playing in the snow Piper wanted to paint a picture for her daddy.

Cookies and Dolls

She loves chocolate chip cookies. She asked for a snack before bed and begged for a "BIG cookie". It was so cute the way she asked for it, I couldn't say no.
These are just a couple of the cute little Cabbage Patch Dolls Piper got for Christmas. She couldn't decide which one she wanted to sleep with, so both of them ended up under the covers with her.

Fun Snow Day

We woke up to snow today. Since our last big storm, Piper has been begging to play in the snow again. As soon as she saw all the white stuff this morning, she couldn't wait to get outside.

We Miss Her

Holley is one of our favorite people. Doug and I have known her since she was a teen. She is family to us. She was there through my pregnancy willing to help any way she could. She held Piper when she was just days old and was willing to babysit at a moments notice when I needed a break. She moved to California and we only get to see her a couple of times a year. We miss her lots - especially Piper. I'm glad that we got to spend some time with her over the Christmas holiday.
